Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 522 of Gilbert, AZ

This site is used by and for Boy Scout Troop 522, a traditional BSA troop located in Gilbert, AZ.

Troop 522 is a Traditional Unit that was Chartered in November of 2009 through
Saint Mary Magdalene Church and KofC Council 13779The Troop is in the San Tan District of the Grand Canyon Council in Arizona.  We currently have 30+ boys, and we utilize the patrol method in our weekly meetings and outings.  Troop 522 provides a quality scouting program to youth in Gilbert, Mesa, Higley, San Tan Village  and Queen Creek, AZ.

Troop 522 experiences great parent participation to volunteer in some capacity for the boy scout troop, as merit badge counselors, outing chaperones, serve on a committees, and/or help with fundraising. The success of the troop depends largely on the involvement of the parents and families!

If you would like to join the troop, have questions, or have suggestions on service projects, contact Tim Smith, Scoutmaster at
troop522info@gmail.com.

Happy Scouting!
